Travellers planning to catch flights to Copenhagen for a late summer break this year will have the opportunity to attend a number of cultural events in the city.
One of the highlights will be the Architecture and Design Days festival, which will run from 2 to 6 September.
About 100 institutions, galleries and organisations across the Danish capital are invited to take part in the event by hosting lectures, exhibitions, installations and more.
Art lovers will be able to visit the city from 18 to 20 September for Kopenhagen Contemporary, an annual event held to celebrate modern art that features guided tours, talks, debates and special displays.
There will also be plenty to interest music fans, including performances by the Danish String Quartet at the Royal Danish Conservatory, which will be given between 11 and 18 September as part of the Golden Days festival.
