Qatar Airways to increase Zurich flights

European travellers will be offered increased access to the Middle East this year when Qatar Airways launches additional flights to Doha from Zurich.
The airline announced that it would add an extra service on the route from 25 October.
As well as providing improved access to Qatar, the new flights will enable travellers to connect to destinations such as the Maldives, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur via Qatar Airways' hub in Doha.
The airline's Doha to Zurich route is served by an Airbus A330 in a two-class configuration, with 24 seats in the business cabin and 236 in economy.
Akbar Al Baker, the carrier's chief executive officer, said: 'Qatar Airways has enjoyed five years of success in Switzerland.
'We are pleased to be able to reinforce our commitment to this important European market through adding capacity and offering our passengers more choice and flexibility on the Zurich route.'
The airline will be further expanding its presence in Europe with additional flights to Paris, Madrid, Stockholm and Athens later this year.
