People who list a sweet tooth among their weaknesses may not be able to resist a visit to Dublin this year as the city hosts a major event celebrating chocolate.
The Chocolate Festival will be held in the Temple Bar cultural quarter from 30 October to 1 November.
Visitors will be able to experience all sorts of events themed around the popular confectionery, including parades, film screenings and performance art exhibitions.
The festival will represent the largest ever gathering of artisan chocolatiers based in Ireland, who will visit Dublin to host workshops and present demonstrations on how chocolate can be used and prepared.
Temple Bar, one of the Irish capital's most popular tourist areas, will be at the centre of a number of events this year, including Dublin Culture Night, which will take place on 25 September.
