Visit the International Fair in Marseille

Travellers visiting the south of France this autumn will have the opportunity to attend a high-profile event in Marseille.
The Marseille International Fair, which is being held for the 85th time in 2009, will take place at the Parc Chanot venue from 25 September to 5 October.
Approximately 1,400 exhibitors will attend the fair, representing cultures, social scenes and industries from all over the world in a number of shows and events.
In the gastronomy section, visitors will be able to sample fine foods sourced from the Provence region as well as cuisine from the Caribbean, Russia and India.
The Marseille International Fair will also feature areas dedicated to outdoor pursuits, international cultures and handicrafts, home furnishings and other topics.
Also taking place in Marseille this year is the Septembre en Mer festival, a celebration of the city's maritime heritage that will run until 4 October.
