A new building has been opened that will serve as the first ever visitor centre at Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Offering free entry and disabled access, the centre features interactive exhibits, a high-definition cinema and galleries focusing on the story of the bridge from its initial development to the present day.
The complex will also be used as a base by BridgeClimb Sydney, the company that operates tours taking visitors to the summit of the city's famous landmark.
Participants will be taken to the centre to prepare for the Express Climb, a new adventure activity that takes participants to the top of the bridge in just under two hours, offering the fastest way of reaching the location.
There are two other experiences available - the Discovery Climb and the Bridge Climb - both of which take three-and-a-half hours and run at dawn, day, twilight and night.
Over 2.4m people have ascended to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, including the celebrities Nicole Kidman, Robert De Niro, Kylie Minogue and Justin Timberlake.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
