Eurostar celebrates 15 years

Eurostar celebrated 15 years of service recently by launching a multimedia advertising campaign.
The initiative combined print, radio, online and outdoor promotions, as well as a 15th anniversary competition that attracted over 15,000 entries.
An event was held at London's St Pancras station on Friday 13 November - the eve of Eurostar's birthday - where 15 pairs of winners were given the prize of a luxury weekend in Paris.
Outside London and the south-east, the high-speed rail operator launched a print campaign promoting the fact that it links over 200 UK stations to the continent via St Pancras.
Commenting on the last 15 years of operations, Emma Harris, the company's director of sales and marketing, said: 'We are very proud that we have grown up with a new generation of travellers.'
Over 100m people have travelled with Eurostar since the service was launched in 1994, covering a distance equivalent to 338 trips to the moon.
