Winter dates announced for NYC Restaurant Week

Winter dates have been announced for the next outing of NYC Restaurant Week.
Travellers planning to visit New York during the winter will be able to enjoy discount meals at hundreds of eateries across the city from 25 January to 7 February 2010.
Three-course lunches will be available for $24.07 (£14.30) and dinners will be priced at $35 at participating restaurants.
George Fertitta, chief executive of tourism agency NYC & Company, said: 'We are excited to host for the 19th year New York City's most acclaimed and well-known dining event.
'New Yorkers and visitors alike look forward to our seasonal culinary celebration. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the great food at a great value and continue to support our local businesses.'
NYC Restaurant Week has been held every year since 1992 and now features more than 250 participating establishments.
The special prices will be available on all days except Saturdays, with individual restaurants given the option of offering the programme on Sundays.
