Affordable experiences on offer in Canada

Travellers planning a trip to Canada have been given a list of the experiences and attractions across the country that cost less than $20 (£11.30).
British Columbia offers several options, such as the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre in Golden and the Victoria Tea Festival, which will take place in February.
People who enjoy adventurous activities can head to the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast in British Columbia to try some cross-country skiing at Hallis Lake.
The Canadian Tourism Commission also identified some affordable experiences in the province of Alberta, such as the International Ice Carving Competition in Lake Louise, which is scheduled for the end of January next year.
Edmonton, the provincial capital, will boast a brand new attraction when the Art Gallery of Alberta opens in early 2010.
Other experiences available for less than $20 include the Winterlude festival, which will be held in Ottawa in February, and Quebec's Winter Carnival in January and February.
Flights to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and other cities across Canada are available with carriers including British Airways, Air Canada and KLM.
