The Singapore Tourism Board has highlighted some of the events that travellers will be able to attend in the city-state over the coming months.
One of the highlights of the festive season will be the ZoukOut Music Festival, which will be held on Sentosa Island on 12 December.
Billed as Asia's biggest all-night beach party, this event runs for nearly 14 hours from 18:30 to 08:00 the next day and features DJs playing dance music, hip hop, R&B, retro tunes and more.
People visiting Singapore over the coming weeks will also be able to attend Christmas in the Tropics, which will be held in the Orchard Road and Marina Bay shopping district until 3 January 2010.
All sorts of events and experiences are arranged for the festival, including outdoor pantomimes, acrobatic performances and a display of gold decorations along the Marina Bay precinct area.
There will be several promotions launched in Singapore during the Christmas period, including an offer providing two free tickets for every two paying adults at attractions including the Singapore Flyer and the National Orchid Garden.
