Czech Airlines moves to Terminal 4 at Heathrow
25 Nov 2009

Czech Airlines has announced that all of its London Heathrow services now operate from Terminal 4.

The airline completed the move yesterday (24 November), with the first flight to Prague departing from the terminal at 07:35 GMT.

Passengers are set to benefit from new facilities including self-service kiosks, a SkyTeam lounge and exclusive check-in counters.

Czech Airlines' move is part of an initiative launched by the SkyTeam alliance to locate all of its members under one roof at London Heathrow, providing easier connections for travellers.

Ladislav Bednar, the carrier's alliance coordinator, said: 'The mutual cooperation of our members has a very positive effect on our passengers.

'This way, we are able to speed up certain processes, such as transfer or check-in, thereby offering more services and far greater comfort within the single corporate identity of the alliance.'

SkyTeam consists of eight members, including Air France-KLM, Delta Airlines and Alitalia, which operate flights to Amsterdam, Atlanta, Milan and several other destinations from London.
