Sydney Wildlife World has announced that it will be opening a new multi-million dollar exhibit on 22 December.
The Last Living Dinosaur display has been designed as a re-creation of the Kakadu National Park gorge in Australia's Northern Territory.
At the heart of the exhibit will be a giant saltwater crocodile, a reptile measuring around five metres in length and weighing over 700kg, which Sydney Wildlife World describes as 'the world's deadliest predator'.
Visitors will be taken on a journey through Kakadu gorge and will come face to face with a creature that has remained unchanged for some 70m years.
The exhibit will have several interactive features, including a fossil and crystal cave, a scale model of one of the crocodile's prehistoric ancestors and a display of animatronic hatchlings.
Michael McKeon, sales and marketing manager for the Sydney Attractions Group, said: 'This launch represents a complete "game change" for Sydney Wildlife World. All aspects of the customer experience have been challenged to deliver an unparalleled world-class interactive exhibit.
'It's fun, entertaining, frightening and educational. It is a must see event.'
