Open-top bus tour launched in Abu Dhabi

Travellers visiting Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates have a new experience to enjoy following the launch of an open-top bus tour.
The sightseeing service is run by the Big Bus Company, which has operated similar tours in London since 1991 and Dubai since 2002.
Visitors can board the bus to see some of the city's most famous landmarks, including the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Heritage Village, the Emirates Palace Hotel and the traditional souks.
A 24-hour ticket is available, meaning that tourists can hop on and off the buses as they please during the course of a day.
Chris Compton, general manager of Big Bus Tours, said: 'We are all very excited about this latest addition to the Big Bus family.
'Development in Abu Dhabi at the moment is phenomenal as the city works hard to establish itself on the global tourism map.'
Bus tours depart from Marina Mall between 09:00 and 17:00 local time and tickets are available from hotels, the Big Bus sales desk at Marina Hall and online.
