Fans of Elvis Presley, also known as the 'King of Rock 'n' Roll', will be able to visit the province of Ontario in Canada later this year to attend a festival celebrating his birthday.

Today (8 January) marks the 75th anniversary of Presley's birth.

To commemorate what it describes as this 'landmark event' Ontario Tourism revealed that the 2010 Collingwood Elvis Festival will be 'more spectacular than ever before'.

Due to take place in the town of Collingwood between 22 and 25 July, the event will feature more than 20 Las Vegas-style performances showcasing some of the best Elvis tribute artists in the business.

All of the acts will be competing for the title of Collingwood Elvis Festival 'grand champion'.

There will be various other events taking place during the festival, including 75th birthday tributes to the legendary rock 'n' roll star and family-themed entertainment.

One of the easiest ways to reach Ontario is by taking flights to Toronto, which are operated by Air Transat, British Airways, Air Canada and other carriers.
