People planning city breaks in London this year will be able to take part in a new experience at one of the capital's top attractions.
Bloody Mary: Killer Queen will open at the London Dungeon during the February half-term period.
The feature will give visitors an introduction to the story of Mary Tudor, also known as Bloody Mary, a queen described as 'one of Britain's most murderous monarchs'.
Tourists will be able to enter Mary's chamber as she passes judgement on heretics who have offended her Catholic sensibilities.
People with a taste for the macabre will also be able to experience the sights and sounds of a person being burnt alive, one of the queen's favoured methods of execution.
There are several other features and experiences on offer at The London Dungeon, including areas that tell the stories of Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd.
Visitors can also test their nerve on the attraction's rides: Extremis - Drop Ride to Doom and Traitor - Boat Ride to Hell.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire - let the journey begin!
