Travellers planning a trip to Vancouver this year will be able to make use of a free iPhone guide to the city that has been launched by Lonely Planet.
The publisher announced that it was releasing the app in honour of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will get underway in Vancouver this week and continue until 28 February.
Users of the application will benefit from all sorts of helpful tools, including integrated maps provided by Google and a location-based navigation system.
Some of the city's top sights and attractions are also covered in the guide, including the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, Vancouver Art Gallery and the Pacific Coliseum.
The app will be available for free download from Apple's iPhone website and iTunes until 1 March.
