Fans of comics and graphic novels will be able to pay a visit to Brussels over the coming months to see a major exhibition celebrating the art forms.
Comics
Twenty Years Later was launched at the Belgian Comic Strip Center in September 2009 to mark the attraction's 20th anniversary and will run until 28 March.
The exhibition explores the medium of comic strip art over the past two decades and highlights the considerable changes it has experienced.
It was curated by photographer Daniel Couvreur, who selected a comic or graphic novel from every year between 1989 and 2009 to offer an insight into the evolution of the art form.
Visitors can see work from all over the world spanning a variety of genres, from traditional adventure stories to philosophical tales that explore serious themes.
The Belgian Comic Strip Center is located in an Art Nouveau building on Brussels' Rue des Sables.
It welcomes more than 200,000 visitors every year.
