The 22nd outing of the festival will run from 3 to 17 April, bringing all sorts of weird and wonderful experiments, demonstrations and other activities to 35 venues across the Scottish capital.
One of the highlights will be a talk at the Informatics Forum on 17 April about the Bloodhound project, an engineering challenge to retain the world land speed record for Britain and see if a car can reach a speed of 1,000 miles per hour.
The talk will be given by former Tomorrow's World presenter and Bloodhound education ambassador Kate Bellingham.
