Orlando visitors offered money-saving tips

Travellers planning a trip to Orlando this year have been offered a number of tips on how to save money in the city.

According to the Orlando Tourism Bureau, the destination offers 'affordably priced holidays with bundles of added value'.

One money-saving tactic is to go online before setting off to download a free Orlando Magicard, which provides discounts on attractions, restaurants, golf courses, cultural venues and more.

Another useful option is the Flexticket, which covers admission to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Wet 'n' Wild and other attractions for 14 consecutive days.

Travellers can also visit the Orlando Tourism Bureau website to find out about free activities and events taking place in the city.

Families were advised to look out for 'kids eat free' signs, which are displayed at several restaurants in Orlando.

The local tourist board also reminded travellers of the fact that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the city's newest attraction, is set to open in the spring.
