People planning to catch flights to London for a city break this year will be able to visit the British Museum to see one of the capital's most eagerly awaited exhibitions.
The museum collaborated with the Uffizi Gallery in Florence to put together a selection of 100 Italian Renaissance drawings, which will be on display from 22 April to 25 July.
Visitors will be able to explore what the Guardian described as a 'once in a lifetime showing for Renaissance art', while the Times predicted that the exhibition will be 'a blockbuster show'.
Some of the most famous and influential figures in art history will have works on view at the British Museum, including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli.
The attraction is also hosting a display of sculptures that are linked to the ancient Ife kingdom of west Africa, which will be on show until 6 June.
People taking city breaks in London will find the museum on Great Russell Street in the heart of the capital.
