Taxi campaign promoting Bermuda in London

British travellers are being encouraged to consider Bermuda as a holiday destination in a new campaign that has been launched in London.
Following the territory's 400th anniversary, Bermuda Tourism has had ten London taxis designed in a pink livery featuring the phrase 'Feel the love' and a pair of the island's famous shorts.
The drivers behind the wheel of the special cabs will even be sent to the destination to ensure that they can offer first-hand opinions to their passengers.
An additional 100 taxis with promotional side panels will be sent out onto the streets of London from April to June and September to November.
William Griffith from the Bermuda Department of Tourism said: 'This is the first time we've undertaken anything like this in the UK.
'The British market is of significant importance to us and this year, we intend to renew our efforts and bring a little slice of our beautiful island to the UK.'
Travellers can reach Bermuda - which is located in the North Atlantic Ocean - in about six and a half hours from London and two hours from New York.
Flights to the island are provided by Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Delta and other carriers.
