Holidaymakers offered new accommodation options in Italy
17 Mar 2010

There will be a number of extra accommodation options available to travellers in Italy this year, with several hotels recently reopening across the country and new establishments set to begin welcoming guests over the coming months.

Some of the country's biggest cities have opened new properties this year, including Milan, where the Hotel Maison Moschino was unveiled at the beginning of March.

The establishment is located in an old neoclassical railway station on Viale Monte Grappa and comprises 65 rooms and junior suites across four floors.

NH Porta Rossa, which is one of Italy's oldest hotels having been built in the 12th century, reopened in Florence earlier this month.

The property is situated within easy reach of the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery and other famous attractions and boasts a number of new amenities and aesthetic elements following the recent renovation.

There will be further openings across Italy over the coming months, with the Casta Diva Resort on Lake Como, Borgo Egnazia in Puglia and the Principe Hotel and Spa on the Tuscany coast all set to start welcoming guests in April and May.
