Music fans will be able to add some memorable entertainment to their Paris trips this year by visiting the Saint-Germain-des-Pres Jazz Festival.
The event will be held in an area of the sixth arrondissement of France's capital city from 16 to 30 May.
Organisers of the festival have already announced some of the artists who will be performing this year, with Mirabassi-Renzi-Parker, Andre Ceccarelli and Diane Tell all set to appear.
Visitors will also be treated to a gig by French accordionist Richard Galliano and keyboard player Jean-Pierre Como, among others.
All sorts of musical genres will be showcased at the festival, from traditional and experimental jazz to blues and boogie-woogie.
The event also provides the opportunity to see the Saint-Germain-des-Pres area of Paris, which is famous for its associations with intellectuals such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir.
One of the district's most popular attractions is a church that dates back to the sixth century AD.
