Prague offers value for money, says CzechTourism

Visitors to Prague have plenty of options to choose from during their holiday, CzechTourism has said.
The organisation claimed that the capital of the Czech Republic offers good value for money and is a favourite city break destination for tourists.
Earlier this week, the Post Office said in a report that Prague was the cheapest city in Europe for accommodation and sightseeing, with total costs of a city break coming to just £106.17.
According to the study, prices in the city are down almost 40% compared with 2009 even though the value of sterling has dipped.
Filip Remenec, a spokesman for CzechTourism, recommended: '[First-time travellers to Prague] should visit the historical places like Prague Castle, the Old Town Bridge, Old Town Square and maybe do some sightseeing outside Prague.
'You can play golf also. There are a lot of things to do. They should visit some Czech restaurants, maybe a brewery and brew their own beer.'
