Brussels event to showcase gourmet cuisine

Travellers with a passion for good food will be arranging breaks in Brussels later this year to attend a major event in the city.
Culinaria Square will take place at the Tour & Taxis venue in Belgium's capital city between 3 and 6 June.
The event will bring together 16 Michelin-starred chefs from restaurants across Belgium and separate them into groups of four, with each group being given the task of creating a unique menu.
All of the chefs are asked to come up with their own dish - a challenge that has resulted in culinary creations such as white chocolate mayonnaise with raspberry macaroons and a basil coulis in the past.
In addition to the special menus, the festival features demonstrations, workshops, a food market and other events to help visitors expand their culinary horizons.
People planning to attend Culinaria Square or any other event in Belgium's capital this year can catch flights to Brussels with a number of different carriers, including Brussels Airlines, British Airways and bmi.
