Families visiting New York City this year will be able to take advantage of a special offer recently launched by Uncle Sam's Walking Tours.

The company announced that, from 22 April, each full-price adult walking tour ticket will come with a free children's pass.

People with children aged up to 16 years old can take advantage of the promotion, which will be available until the last weekend in May.

Several walking routes are covered by the offer, including the Broadway Theatre District, Edgar Allan Poe Greenwich Village and Heroes of the World Trade Center tours.

Uncle Sam's offers various activities and excursions for visitors to try during their break in New York, including fashion tours, pub crawls, nightclub visits and private SUV rides around the city.

Travellers planning to visit the destination this year could also save some money by making use of the CityPASS, which costs $79 (£51) for adults and covers entry to major attractions including the Empire State Building, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History.
