New tours on offer in Perth
27 Apr 2010

There will be some new experiences on offer to travellers visiting the city of Perth this year, Tourism Western Australia has revealed.

Operators based in the region have launched a number of tours recently, including an excursion that invites visitors to learn more about urban indigenous culture.

Tourists will be given the opportunity to attend a class offering an insight into aboriginal art in Perth, taste a range of modern bush foods and take a lesson on how to play the didgeridoo.

A walking tour has also been launched to introduce visitors to some of Perth's most popular bars and restaurants, which combines good food and drink with local stories and history.

People planning to get out of the city to see some of Western Australia's natural spectacles might be interested in visiting Ningaloo Reef, which is the largest fringing coral reef in the world.

Sea tours allow travellers to see some of the tropical fish, whales, dolphins, turtles and other marine creatures that inhabit the area.

Travellers can catch flights to Perth with Emirates, Malaysia Airlines and Qantas, among other carriers.
