BC Ferries opens new information centre in Vancouver

Travellers planning to see some of Canada's Pacific coast during a holiday in Vancouver this year can find out about some of the experiences on offer at a new BC Ferries information centre.

The company said that the Vacations Centre will provide visitors with 'endless opportunities' to explore the province of British Columbia (BC).

Features of the new information outlet include a 90-square-foot electronic media wall with 18 screens, providing useful tools including route maps, destination images and tour details.

BC Ferries offers a range of trips and excursions for people planning to explore the region, including winery tours on Vancouver Island and hiking expeditions in Ucluelet.

Janet Carson, the company's vice president of marketing and travel services, said: 'Our BC Ferries Vacation Centre focuses on unique travel packages for visitors and local
residents and will help our customers create unforgettable BC vacations.

'Our sales associates are pleased to provide their expertise to recommend products that will enhance the vacation experience.'

Travellers can catch flights to Vancouver with Air Canada, United Airlines and Lufthansa, among other carriers.
