Visit Boston for Harborfest 2010

Travellers who enjoy attending local events and festivals during trips abroad will certainly find something to interest them during a trip to Boston this year.
Harborfest, a celebration of the destination's maritime heritage and the 4th of July, will take place in and around City Hall from 30 June to 5 July.
The festival will begin with an opening ceremony on 30 June, which will be followed on 1 July with Children's Day, which features plenty of live music, dancing and informative events hosted by organisations such as the USS Constitution Museum.
Another highlight for visitors to look out for is Chowderfest, which celebrates a popular soup dish that traditionally features clams, as well as other meats and seafood.
Several different restaurants take part in the contest every year, with visitors sampling their products and voting for the best.
More than 200 daily events are set to take place during Harborfest this year.
People who would like to join in with the celebrations can catch flights to Boston with Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines and KLM, among other carriers.
