Arts festival to return to Marrakech

Travellers will be offered some memorable cultural experiences in Marrakech this year when the city plays host to the 45th annual Popular Arts Festival.
The event will be held in the Moroccan city from 16 to 24 July.
All sorts of entertainment and performances will be arranged for the festival, from modern shows to ancient folk dances.
Visitors can gather along Mohamed V Boulevard on 16 July to see the event begin with a vibrant parade, which will feature more than 500 artists singing and dancing in the street.
Twenty-one troupes representing different regions of Morocco will visit the Palais Badii on 17 July to entertain the crowds, with daily performances scheduled up to 24 July.
Other events on offer across Marrakech during the festival will include performances of traditional Chaabi music and shows on the El Harti stage by popular artists such as Mwansa, Mayara Band and Style Souss.
Royal Air Maroc, easyJet and other carriers offer flights to Marrakech.
