Nice Jazz Festival to return this summer

Music fans hoping to enjoy some live entertainment during an overseas break this summer could find what they are looking for in the south of France.
The ever-popular Nice Jazz Festival will return to the Cimiez Arena and Gardens from 17 to 24 July.
A varied line-up of emerging artists and established stars will perform in the seafront city this year, with Herbie Hancock (21 July) among the biggest names on the programme.
Kris Kristofferson will also be entertaining the crowds at the Nice Jazz Festival on 23 July, while Rodrigo y Gabriela will be performing on the Arenes stage on the same day.
Other acts confirmed for the event include the Victoria Rummler Quintet, Ornette Coleman and Earth, Wind and Fire, who will all play on the opening day, and the Clifton Anderson Quintet on 24 July.
Travellers can reach the French Riviera by taking flights to Nice with easyJet, British Airways or Swiss.
