People with an interest in history can visit a range of fascinating locations in Utrecht, which boasts the second-highest number of listed buildings in Holland.
Visitors can see a range of churches, original museums and landmarks such as the Dom tower, which is the tallest structure of its kind in the country.
The tourism agency is promoting several other activities on offer in Utrecht, such as sailing along the city's canals in a Venetian gondola and didgeridoo workshops at the Museum for Contemporary Aboriginal Art.
Travellers can reach the destination by catching flights to Amsterdam Schiphol airport and taking a train, with direct rail services linking the Dutch capital to Utrecht in only 30 minutes.
