California tourist board promoting Wine Month

The California Travel and Tourism Commission (CTTC) has encouraged travellers to visit the state in September to take advantage of a range of wine-themed special offers and experiences.
California Wine Month will see dozens of accommodation establishments in the region offering promotions and discounts of up to 35%.
The offers will be available in established and emerging wine regions such as Napa, Sonoma, Temecula Valley and Santa Barbara.
All sorts of visitors will find special offers to suit them during California Wine Month, according to the CTTC, from people planning to explore by bicycle to those intending to rent a luxury car.
Caroline Beteta, president and chief executive of the commission, said: 'Whether you're a passionate wine lover or just a dabbler in our state's signature beverage, there's nothing quite as exciting as visiting California wine country just before and during harvest time.
'The beautiful valleys are abundant with the fragrance and colours of grapes and vines, and the bustle of vintners getting ready to create their next great vintage.'
Travellers can reach California by catching flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and other cities.
