Terracotta soldiers exhibition opens in Stockholm

A loan exhibition showcasing major archaeological discoveries from recent decades has opened in Stockholm.
Travellers visiting the city can see China's Terracotta Army at the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities until 16 January 2011.
Visitors will be able to see some of the famous terracotta soldiers and other artefacts that were recovered in 1974 from the grave of Qin Shi Huangdi, China's first emperor.
The exhibition includes more than 300 other objects, some of which were discovered in the tombs of figures such as Emperor Jingdi and Empress Wang.
It covers an important period in Chinese history from 221 BC to 220 AD, spanning the Qin and Han dynasties.
Visitors will find the display in the caverns located beneath the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities, which are normally closed to the public and were once used as part of the Swedish military's headquarters.
Flights to Stockholm are provided by Norwegian, Lufthansa, Swiss and other carriers.
