Oktoberfest will take place in the scenic Bavarian city from 18 September to 4 October 2010.
Europe's largest beer festival, the event celebrates various alcoholic beverages from Germany and around the world and also features plenty of live music and entertainment.
According to organisers, this year's Oktoberfest will be the biggest yet, with an extended schedule to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the festival and more attractions than ever before.
Highlights will include the tapping of the first beer barrel at noon on 18 September, which will officially get the programme underway, and an exhibition celebrating the history of the event.
There will also be plenty of souvenirs available to ensure visitors never forget their trip to Oktoberfest 2010.
