Document festival returning to Glasgow

People planning a break in Glasgow next month will have the opportunity to see some thought-provoking films and take part in some special events during Document.
The festival will feature screenings of a number of documentaries exploring human rights at the Centre for Contemporary Arts from 26 to 31 October.
Document is the only festival of its kind dedicated to this subject in Scotland.
It was founded in 2003 with the aim of using film as a tool to raise awareness and encourage debate about human rights and social issues all over the world.
Visitors will be able to see new documentaries exploring topics such as immigration and asylum, racism, miscarriages of justice, war, poverty and social exclusion.
The programme will also feature a number of lectures, workshops, exhibitions, live music performances and other events.
