Check out Prospect.1.5 in New Orleans

Travellers planning a trip to the US over the coming months might have the opportunity to check out some special events and performances during Prospect.1.5 New Orleans.
The biennial event will get underway on 6 November this year and run until 19 February 2011.
It will feature exhibitions, performances, symposiums and other activities presented at venues throughout the city by more than 50 artists, approximately one-third of whom will be local residents.
Prospect.1.5 will serve as a preview to Prospect.2 New Orleans, which will run from 22 October 2011 to 29 January 2012.
The New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau also revealed that the National World War II Museum is continuing its expansion with the development of the US Freedom Pavilion: Land, Sea and Air.
Scheduled for completion by spring 2012, the new addition to the museum will house large artefacts including a B-17 bomber and other exhibits honouring all of the service branches that were involved in the war.
