New York Restaurant Week Winter 2011 confirmed

Tourism organisation NYC & Company has confirmed the dates of New York City's Restaurant Week Winter 2011.
The event will take place from 24 January to 6 February next year, giving visitors the opportunity to buy three-course lunches for $24.07 (£15) and dinners for $35 (£21.80), prices that have remained the same since 2006.
Visitors can take advantage of the low prices from Monday to Friday, with Saturdays excluded and Sundays optional for participating restaurants.
NYC & Company chief executive George Fertitta said: 'We are gearing up with the dining industry for another great season of NYC Restaurant Week.
'Winter 2011 promises an impressive lineup of participating eateries - well over 200 reasons to partake in New York City's leading culinary celebration.'
The event began in 1992, when 95 establishments took part, and has steadily grown to include more than 275 restaurants and provide a range of consumer events, products and benefits.
NYC & Company recently announced that nearly 100 hotels across the city will be offering discount rates in January and February as part of a campaign to attract visitors to the destination during the winter.
