Vienna tourist centre offering new services

Travellers visiting Vienna can now take advantage of some new special offers and services at the tourist information office on Albertinaplatz in the city's first district.
From 14:00 to 17:00 local time every day, visitors can head to the office to pick up bargain tickets for live performances that evening.
Same-day tickets are available for a range of theatre productions, musicals and cabaret performances at venues such as the Theater an der Wien, Marionettentheater Schloss Schonbrunn and Palais Nowak.
Discounts of between 25% and 50% are available at the office, which charges a small booking fee and takes payment in cash only.
Also on offer at the tourist information centre on Albertinaplatz is a new tactile map of Vienna's first district that is designed to help visitors with visual impairments.
The office provides a free service to some 400,000 people every year and offers printed materials in a choice of 13 languages.
