New Zealand campaign highlights unique experiences

New Zealand's national tourism agency has launched a new campaign highlighting the country's unique visitor experiences.
Following research suggesting that the nation could boost its appeal as a holiday destination by personalising its marketing communications, Tourism New Zealand has added the word 'you' to its '100% pure' slogan.
Chief executive Kevin Bowler said the development will take the country's promotional message to the next level.
'We have identified people around the world already considering travelling to New Zealand who have the financial means to make the trip,' he added.
'The addition of "you" to the successful "100% pure New Zealand" advertising message is a logical next step that will benefit New Zealand's tourism industry by highlighting the many individual experiences on offer.'
Due to be launched in major European, North American and Asian markets by the end of February, the campaign will include television commercials and online banner adverts.
In November last year, New Zealand was ranked the third-strongest country brand in an index published by FutureBrand.
