BA flights to Paris Orly underway

British Airways this month launched a new route between London Heathrow and Paris Orly.
The service, which got underway on 10 January, complements the airline's existing connection to Paris Charles de Gaulle from the London hub.
Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft will be operating 12 weekly flights on the route, providing a choice of Euro Traveller and Club Europe classes.
Colm Lacy, BA's general manager of network planning, described the link as an 'excellent addition' to the carrier's short-haul network and pointed out that it provides easy access to the Paris financial district.
'Customers will also be able to make smooth connections on to BA subsidiary OpenSkies' services between Orly and the United States and on to oneworld partner Iberia,' he added.
The airline operates an extensive European network that also includes flights to French destinations such as Bordeaux and Toulouse, as well as Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam and other major cities.
