Virgin Atlantic reveals quirkiest museums

Travellers catching flights with Virgin Atlantic this year will have the opportunity to visit some museums that have been singled out by the airline as among the quirkiest in the world.
Holidaymakers heading to South Africa can see some of the exhibits at the new Museum of South African Hip Hop in Cape Town, which celebrates artists such as Zulu Boy and aims to promote hip hop music as a positive interest for the country's young people.
Visitors can learn more about Oriental and international cuisine at another establishment on the Virgin Atlantic list - the Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture in Hong Kong.
The airline also recommends the Propaganda Museum in Shanghai, which looks at how Mao Zedong and his Red Guard influenced the Chinese people during the eras of the Cold War and Cultural Revolution.
Four US attractions feature on Virgin Atlantic's list of quirky institutions around the world: the Bunny Museum in Los Angeles, Musee Mecanique in San Francisco, Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in New York, and the Mob Museum in Las Vegas.
