New tour highlights Frankfurt skyline

New tour highlights Frankfurt skyline
8 Apr 2011

Frankfurt Tourism has announced details of a new tour inviting visitors to learn more about the German destination's famous skyline.

The excursion has been added to the range of 'hop on-hop off' tours available on red double-decker buses in the city, which have proved highly popular over the past two years.

Described as Frankfurt's 'premier landmark' and a highly popular photo opportunity for tourists, the skyline is dominated by high-rise buildings and skyscrapers that represent past and present urban development in the city.

The new trip, which also features a visit to Frankfurt Zoo, the second-oldest attraction of its kind in Germany, is available alongside the main city tour.

Visitors can combine the excursions to ensure they have the opportunity to see the destination's leading sights and attractions, such as the Romer town hall, St Paul's Church, Emperor's Cathedral and the Goethe House.

Tours last approximately one hour and guests are free to get on and off at different stops.
