LA crime scene tours launched

Travellers visiting Los Angeles this year will have the opportunity to take sightseeing tours highlighting the scenes of some of the city's most infamous crimes.
Starline Tours is offering the new excursions, which are billed as 'perfect for amateur sleuths and drama junkies who enjoy television's most popular crime shows'.
Various incidents will be explored in depth and a range of locations will be visited, including Beverly Hills, Studio City and the village of Brentwood, which was made famous by former American football star and convicted criminal OJ Simpson.
Notorious crimes including the North Hollywood bank robbery, which resulted in a shootout between the perpetrators and police, and the Black Dahlia murder will be among those covered during the tours.
Guests will be escorted by either off-duty or retired law enforcement officers, who will share some of their personal stories and views regarding the crimes.
Due to be launched in mid-June, the tours will last two and a half hours and will be available twice daily from Thursday to Sunday.
