London event to highlight travel experiences in Canada

UK travellers considering a trip to Canada this year can visit an event in London to find out more about some of the experiences on offer in the country.
The largest Canada Day celebration outside the nation's borders will take place in Trafalgar Square on 1 July 2011.
One of the highlights of the event is the Experience Canada pavilion, where visitors can find out more about provinces such as British Columbia, home to the gateway city of Vancouver.
Popular activities in the region include seeing the landscapes of the Rocky mountains, kayaking along white-water rivers, bear watching and fishing.
Visitors can also learn about cities such as Toronto and Ottawa in Ontario, the 'melting pot' of cultures and lifestyles found in Quebec and the unique scenery and outdoor pursuits on offer in Alberta.
As well as promoting tourism, Canada Day will provide entertainment for guests with Inuit throat singers, live music and appearances by Canadian Mounties.
