Imagination meets reality in Paris

People with an interest in science fiction and its relationship with the real world of science should not miss the opportunity to visit an exhibition in Paris this year.
Science (and) Fiction: Imagination Meets Reality has been running at the French capital's Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie attraction throughout the year and is due to close on 3 July.
Travellers who have the opportunity to see the display over the coming month can explore some 1,600 square metres of exhibition space focusing on the interaction between science and science fiction.
Among the items to look out for are authentic props and costumes from cult movies and television series, a working robot, film posters and pulp comics from the 1940s and 50s.
The display also invites visitors to try out interactive installations and features documentaries and information panels offering more in-depth insights into the topic.
Located in Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie is the biggest science museum in Europe.
