The Ivy opens in Dubai

Jumeirah Restaurants has announced that the Ivy restaurant is now open at The Boulevard, Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.
According to the company, the new eatery offers the same standards of food, service and atmosphere as the prestigious establishment of the same name in London.
Opened earlier this month, The Ivy comprises a private dining room and a 60-seat terrace and offers a brasserie-style menu with classics including the restaurant's famous shepherd's pie, Dover sole and Scandinavian iced berries with hot white chocolate sauce.
International dishes such as Thai-baked sea bass and sashimi are also on offer to visitors.
Phil Broad, managing director of Jumeirah Restaurants, said: 'The opening of The Ivy in Dubai has been highly anticipated by patrons for whom dining at the London brasserie has become a custom.
'It is a welcome addition to the Jumeirah restaurant portfolio. With its sophisticated decor and delicious food, The Ivy is set to become a landmark in Dubai.'
Dubai visitors can also sample some of the cuisine on offer at The Ivy's sister restaurant - the Rivington Grill at the Souk Al Bahar.
