Another will begin welcoming visitors in Sydney from the beginning of next year.
The permanent Legoland Discovery Centre is due to open its doors in the Decks Tokyo Beach Mall in June 2012.
It will feature highlights including a 4D cinema, Lego rides and the highly popular Miniland exhibit, which includes miniature representations of some of the world's most famous buildings.
Glenn Earlam of Merlin Entertainments Group said: 'Japan is a very exciting marketplace and we have been looking for suitable sites in Tokyo, and other parts of the country, for some time, and believe that Decks Mall offers a great opportunity for us.
