Copenhagen hotel launches anti-snoring room

Travellers who dread their relaxing getaways being ruined by a snoring partner have been offered a lifeline by the Hotel Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers in Denmark.
The hotel has introduced an 'anti-snoring room', which has been specially designed to mitigate the effect of the troublesome habit.
According to VisitDenmark, the room features technology that absorbs certain sounds, making it easier for partners of noisy sleepers to get a good night's rest.
Summarising some of the quirky news from the country's travel industry, the national tourist board also highlighted the Round Christiansborg event, which is organised by the Danish Swimming Federation.
Scheduled for 27 August this year, the challenge sees participants swimming for approximately 2km around Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
The route takes swimmers past a number of sights that travellers can see while keeping their feet firmly on dry land, such as Frederiksholms canal, the Black Diamond building and Gammel Strand.
