11 Aug 2011
Sightseeing pass operator the Leisure Pass Group has announced that it has expanded into Germany with the launch of a card covering Berlin.
Holders will have access to 53 leading attractions in the German capital, including the Pergamon, Checkpoint Charlie and Jewish museums.
The pass also provides free access to Berlin's public transport network, hop-on hop-off bus tours and a river cruise.
Now in its 13th year of operation, the Leisure Pass Group also offers discount programmes for tourists in major cities such as London, Paris and New York.
Product marketing director Amanda Truman said: 'The Leisure Pass Group is well on its way to powering 4m attraction visits every year and the addition of the Berlin Sightseeing Pass really underlines our commitment to European expansion.
'Berlin is a spectacular city that has seen tremendous investment since reunification. Its history and culture mean there is so much to explore and make it a perfect candidate for an all-in-one attraction pass.'
The card is available for durations of two or three days and also provides access to sights and experiences such as the Berliner Dom, Bode Museum and Alte National Gallery.
Customers will be provided with a 96-page sightseeing guide to help them make the most of the city.
