Dolphin experience proves a hit at Australia's Sea World
31 Aug 2011

Sea World on Australia's Gold Coast has revealed that its Dolphin Discovery presentation has proved a big hit among visitors this year.

Introduced in February 2011, the experience has attracted more than 15,000 guests to the Dolphin Cove theatre.

Presented before the park opens, it offers a range of information and insights into the world of the fascinating and perennially popular marine mammal.

Ernst Pfister, Sea World's general manager, said: 'Dolphin Discovery is a truly unique presentation which resonates with the guests of Sea World Resort by providing them with an exclusive sneak peek of Sea World's dolphins, all before the park opens.

He added: 'The Dolphin Discovery presentation provides our guests with the chance to witness a dolphin training session while a Sea World dolphin trainer enlightens them on the world of the dolphin and answers their questions.'

Described as 'the ultimate family theme park holiday destination', Sea World boasts features including two lagoon pools and direct monorail access to the site.

Travellers visiting the Gold Coast in eastern Australia will find a number of theme parks in the area, including Movie World and Wet 'n' Wild, as well as several beaches that are famous for their surfing conditions.
